More Holiday Cheer

This is an interesting album from Low. Widely known as a "slowcore" or "sadcore" band, which might I add, must be one of the most retarded labels a person can use to classify music. Adding "-core" suffixes to anything is asinine and personally annoying. I digress. If you're familiar with Low, you'll be surprised by this admittedly pop-leaning album. Not your usual fare by these guys. Enjoy it.

'Tis the Season, I guess

December is the best month, when you're a kid. Christmas cartoon specials, holiday food/junk food, awkward family reunions, drunken relatives, and of course the presents. I always had a predilection for Charlie Brown for some reason. It could have been his melancholy and self-disparaging attitude of himself, or his keen ability to completely ruin everybody's shit with his innate incompetence and naïvety. The music to this particular cartoon is, like most of the other Charlie Brown specials, surprisingly adult in tone. Not your usual high-pitched, kid humming theme music. Enjoy.
